I was done with painting last night and remembered that I have video capacities on my camera. I hadn't forgotten, really, but it's taken me a while to return to experimenting with it. Last October, I had a computer meltdown and had to have my old one replaced. At the same time, I had just barely begun to understand the processes involved with creating and posting videos online.
Last night, after I was done with painting for the day, I decided to turn the video function on and get back into the video habit I began last fall. I'm thinking about doing an ongoing series of video studio journals along with other ideas. As much as I like the creative possibilities, there's the inevitable time-suck that comes along with experimenting with new media (new to me, that is), but I'm looking forward to whatever may come next...

The visuals are great but I can't seem to get any sound--any ideas? I love this idea--it's so interesting to see other people's studios and hear them speak. (or not hear as the case may be.)
Hi Rebecca,
I've checked the videos and the sound works fine for me. You might want to check your computer's sound settings? Not sure what may be the problem...
Got it--the master sound control was muted for some reason. Thanks for posting this, I enjoyed seeing your space and work, and especially your floor, I think it is even more grungy than mine!(For some reason most of the artists I know personally are very very neat and tidy--strange.)
Thanks, I'm glad you like it. I've been in some pretty neat, orderly studios, also. I guess it's fine if it suits the way one works, but I could never have a completely clean studio. Maybe a corner, but never the whole place...
