Autumnal Mixture

Detail shot of two paintings in progress

Jeffrey Collins - Autumn Mixture by jeffreycollins

I had a pretty short session in the studio this morning before having to leave for work. Lucky for me, the "Autumn Mixture" by Jeffrey Collins (above) made up for that bummed feeling of having to leave when I wasn't quite ready to.

I love what you are doing and look forward to seeing more. I understand the bummed feeling ;-)

Thank you, Terry. I'll post more as the works develop.

Giving up the momentum that I had going was annoying, as you can imagine. It reminded me of being back in school and having to leave a painting or printmaking class to go to a required math course afterwards. Making that sudden shift was always difficult, especially since I never did well with most higher forms of math beyond algebra.
