Markers

Marker I, 2011, acrylic and ink on paper, 50" x 38"

Marker II, 2011, acrylic and ink on paper, 50" x 38"

Marker III, 2011, acrylic and ink on canvas, 50" x 38"

These are the first in the "Marker" series. They are really new and unlike some of my other work, they immediately took on an identity of their own that was at once identifiable to me but also hauntingly mysterious. They have something of the patina of age about them, but of what age, where, when, and why?

yes they spark unconscious
associations.

I am not on Tumblr anymore
because I can't handle the
flow of sinful content so
I am going to follow you
here and on FB.
