Photographer Ian Ruhter converted an old delivery truck into a giant camera and is going across the country in it, producing his one-of-a-kind large format images. Ruhter uses an old wet plate photography technique that involves the use of silver and other chemicals. The images he captures are pretty amazing, not only in their beauty, but also for seeing the passion he puts into his work and the high stakes: Every image he makes comes at a cost of $500 to produce.
